This is a crocheted drawstring pouch inspired by seashells.
I was able to complete this piece to my liking.
I was overjoyed, and when I unveiled it on SNS as soon as it was completed, it was very well received by everyone, which made me even happier.
After all, seashells are nice, aren't they?
I also love looking for shells on the beach, and when I was a child, I admired the beautiful shells that only seem to be found on beaches in faraway southern countries, so it makes me feel a little nostalgic.
At first, I was imagining that I could make a zipper pouch with the seashells I admired as a theme, but when I put the drawstring string through it, it turned out to be the best match!
A drawstring pouch that can be easily finished has been completed.
The white sample is crocheted with 100% linen yarn, and the blue work is crocheted with 100% cotton yarn.
Also, both pieces were crocheted with about fine, sport and light DK yarn and a 2.50mm(or C-2) crochet hook.
I am sorry that all the yarns used in the work have already been discontinued because I used yarns that I had in stock for a long time.
For reference, the white yarn is Gosyo Grace (Keito-Zakka Stores), and it was difficult to see if it was enough for one ball (if you have this yarn, please be careful).
The blue one is Daruma Cotton Crochet Large, and one ball is enough for this one.
In the pattern, "Grace" is listed as the yarn used.
The crocheted fabric is firm and keeps its shape to some extent, so it seems that cotton, which is softer than linen, will not be a problem.
Please crochet it with your favorite yarn and hide it in your bag.
This drawstring bag can be crocheted in a short time, but it's not too short, and the shape is interesting, so I think it's a good idea to crochet it and give it to someone.
No particularly difficult techniques are used, so feel free to try it!

sakiss's "Seashell Pouch"
Even though the stitch pattern is simple, this was a wonderful pattern packed with the unique joy of knitting as the piece gradually becomes three-dimensional.
The yarn in the photos is exactly one skein of LANG YARNS CARLY!
Once I finished one, I enjoyed it so much that I ended up making three.
Next, I’d like to try an arrangement with beads threaded through it.

Crocheting this was fun and the finished piece is so cute.
I made two and gave one to a friend as a gift.
I’ll probably make more soon.
This puzzle-like pattern really clears my mind while crocheting.
It’s perfect for crocheting on the go at a café.

Meh's "Seashell Pouch"
I fell in love at first sight with Ronique’s Shell Pouch and purchased the pattern.
I used different yarns to make a pouch, an earphone case, and a small bag for a stuffed animal.
Thank you for such a wonderful pattern!

I crocheted a shell-shaped pouch with fluffy yarn!
The first time I saw this pouch, I knew I had to make it, and now that I actually have, it’s super cute and one of my favorites ♡

At first, I was a bit unsure, but once I got the hang of it, I zipped along!
I was so happy to see how such a cute shape comes from this stitch.
It would also make a lovely gift.

I enjoyed crocheting while imagining how the shell shape would turn out.
