I love trying out different ideas, and I’m always experimenting, aiming to create pieces that are not only fun to make but also bring joy when you use them.
With each pattern, I pour my heart into it, hoping that you’ll feel the same excitement while crocheting as I did when creating it.

I am constantly exploring new ideas to bring you fresh designs.

Our History

2007

  • I began teaching myself crochet when my life as a mother started.

2009

  • Opened the website "Kodomo to Tezukuri to" (Handmade with Kids) and began sharing free crochet patterns.

2012

  • Earned certification as a crochet instructor.
  • Founded the crochet website “Ronique,” featuring an online shop offering original crochet charts and kits.

2013

  • Began contributing crochet patterns to collaborative publications.

2015

  • Renewed the Ronique website, introducing the current logo.
  • Held a crochet workshop at Sapporo Tokyu Department Store.

2016

  • Taught the course “Semi-Original Bag Making” at Vogue Gakuen Sapporo.
  • Held a crochet workshop at Daimaru Sapporo Department Store.

2017

  • Published the first book, “Winter Crochet Accessories,” by Bunka Publishing Bureau.

2018

  • Published the second book, “Summer Crochet Accessories,” by Bunka Publishing Bureau.
  • Published the third book, “Winter Crochet Coziness,” by Bunka Publishing Bureau.

2020

  • Renewed the Ronique website, migrating to WordPress.

2021

  • Published the fourth book, “Basket bag crocheted with your favorite pattern 100 patterns x 5 bottoms x 6 handles = 3000 patterns,” by Bunka Publishing Bureau.
  • Renewed the online shop Ronique Store, shifting from printed crochet patterns to digital downloads.

2022

  • The online shop Ronique Store became bilingual (Japanese and English).
  • Began offering English versions of crochet patterns on Ronique Store and Ravelry.

2023

  • Began offering English versions of crochet patterns on Etsy.

2024

  • Published the book “Crochet Bead Jewelry” through Kindle Direct Publishing.
