I made a crochet cap.
The back also has an adjuster following the cap.

I've wanted to crochet caps for a long time, but recently I've been wanting to see some nice caps, and my desire to crochet led to this work.

The feeling of actually wearing it will be a "cap" atmosphere.

This gives the impression that it can be completed in a much shorter time than a wide-brimmed straw hat.
As long as you have the right yarn, it's fun to crochet different colors.

The secondary materials are only the adjuster parts, and nothing is put in the brim.
It's soft, so you can fold it up and carry it around.

Also, the first thing to note about production is that this work requires a steam iron.

The two works in the image use different yarns, and the thickness of the yarns is slightly different.

For the charcoal gray work, I used Daruma's "Linen Ramie Cotton", and for the blue, I used "Slightly Thick Cotton" by Motohiro.

The charcoal gray gauge was good, so I listed this yarn as the yarn to use in the pattern.

The charcoal gray work and the blue work use yarns of different thicknesses, resulting in a variation of just one row in the number of rows to be crocheted.
To enable that this pattern can be crocheted using either yarn, the blue crocheting method is accompanied by an adjusted version of the crochet diagram, serving as a reference for adjusting the size.

Crochet cap breathable

The charcoal gray is a little stiffer, but it has a nice rustic texture, and the blue feels very comfortable and cute when crocheting.

Both yarns are easy to crochet and thick enough to hold their shape.
I usually use a No. 7 crochet hook (4mm, G-6) to crochet yarn that is about DK weight thickness, but since I don't have tight tension, I used a No. 6 crochet hook (3.50 mm, E-4) for these pieces so that it doesn't come loose.

This work uses only the basic crocheting method and does not incorporate any specialty stitches.

The sample work is crocheted with summer yarn, but it would be fun to crochet with winter yarn such as wool or tweed and match it with autumn fashion.

Please try crocheting with a color choice that is easy to incorporate!
