I love the texture of rib-knitted fabric, so being able to create a similar atmosphere with crochet brings me joy.

While I've crocheted rib patterns several times in the past, I recently realized that I had never attempted a crochet pattern inspired by the 3×3 Rib.

Without hesitation, I tried my hand at creating this wide rib with a 3×3 Rib-like appearance.

Uncertain about how to use this ribbed pattern, I experimented with various ideas.
However, creating an item that allows one to savor this crochet pattern on its own, without mixing it with other crochet patterns, felt most fitting.

This piece features the "Natural Spun DK" yarn provided by Olympus.

We also have the crochet pattern for "Fringe Tote" made with different colors of the same yarn, available on a separate page. Please check it out.

This yarn has a lovely blend of natural nuances, and the deep and gentle color range is also attractive.

Crafted from a blend of wool and cotton, it offers warmth with a smooth touch.
I also like that it can be used for a long time from early fall to early spring.

Beyond its ease of crocheting, the yarn itself has a roundness that reminds me of a mascot, which makes it really cute.
I want to complete the piece, but the yarn is so delightful that I hesitate to finish crocheting. It's that kind of yarn.

With a 100g roll and a large ball, it's immensely helpful for creating voluminous pieces like this one (resulting in fewer tails to weave in!).
I used three balls for this scarf, with just the right amount left over.

The image below showcases a swatch crocheted with the same "Natural Spun DK" yarn in different colors.
The color (Col.109) is also captivating, so be sure to take a look.

When it comes to scarves that are linear and have little variation in shape, there might be a concern crossing the minds of experienced knitters or crocheters that they could get bored halfway through.

I shared that concern, but crafting this scarf without overexertion resulted in completion in just three days.
Given that I don't consider myself a particularly fast crocheter, I offer this as good news—finishing before the project becomes monotonous.

The pattern for this piece includes the use of a special stitch.
Accompanied by a video tutorial using thicker yarn and an image guide for the pattern, there shouldn't be any particularly challenging aspects.

Adjusting the size is also straightforward.

Utilizing stitch markers to prevent mistakes ensures you can proceed confidently.

In the chilly season, imagine creating a piece you can comfortably crochet, placing the finished fabric on your lap.

With a design suitable for anyone, consider making it for yourself, your family, or as a thoughtful gift!
