When it comes to crochet, I think that there are many people who love crochet motif, but I think there are also people who want to crochet if it can be done with a small number of motifs, although crochet patchwork requires patience.
This is a bag that I would like you to crochet when you feel like that.
I've always wanted to make an "Edo bag" with crochet.
At that time, I happened to discover this crocheting method in association with the crochet patchwork!
It fits the image I had in mind, and I was happy to crochet it all at once.
I also added some ideas to the handle of the knot and stuck to the silhouette ♪
The motif used here is a mesh motif. It's not as transparent as I expected, it doesn't stretch too much, and it's quite good.
The work in the photo is crocheted with linen yarn of about Sport / 5ply and 3 mm crochet hook.
Depending on the finished size, I could just hang it on my shoulder. The length of the handle can be adjusted slightly by adjusting the position of the knot, so try to find the right knot.

Mio's "Origami Azuma Bag"
I tried crocheting a colorful Edo bag in a summer version.
I really love this shape.
Thank you always for your wonderful patterns. ![Yarn Crafter [Yutomayu]'s crochet piece Edo bag](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0518/7774/0737/files/ga01_019_003L_240x240.jpg?v=1683010992)
Yarn Crafter [Yutomayu]'s "Origami Azuma Bag"
It's hard to see because it's black. The squirrel also came to visit. I crocheted it with cotton chenille yarn. It's lightweight. Black is a bit tricky to work with, though. Next time, I'd like to make a bright-colored version for spring and summer. It's very useful as a drawstring for my linen crochet bag.

Rico's "Origami Azuma Bag"
This is a project I've been dying to crochet ever since it was featured on Facebook!
I used lace yarn, so it turned out slightly smaller than the original.
I'm amazed at how three motifs and just a few small adjustments can create such a beautiful piece!!
