I designed a crochet bag you'll want to carry under the bright summer sun.
It's a mesh bag worked in filet crochet.
It's roomy enough to wear comfortably over your shoulder.
The handle length is easy to adjust, so you can make it shorter if you prefer.
Tuck it into your bag and use it as a reusable shopping bag.
It's also great for carrying your kids' sand toys!
The sample was crocheted with fingering weight linen yarn. Even with fine yarn, it turns out a good size.
Since the openings in the diamond lace pattern are fairly large, I think finer yarn gives a neater look.

My long-awaited stroll bag is finally finished—I'm so happy!
I tried to capture the feeling of a summer beach using beige linen yarn with a touch of sparkle.
Since this was my first time making a bag, I was a bit worried, but the pattern was very easy to follow, so I enjoyed crocheting it all the way to the end.

Yumanma's "Filet Lace Beach Stroll Tote"
I used the yarn I had on hand, so I crocheted it with a light worsted cotton instead of linen.
Maybe the yarn wasn’t quite right, so the stitches came out a bit uneven,
but once I put things inside, it was no problem (haha).
Hokkaido’s summers are short, but I chose colors that would also work in the autumn foliage season♪
It’s detailed yet quick to crochet, and I had so much fun making it!
