Japanese Crochet Pattern: Mittens 2014 (Chart Included)

These crochet mittens work up in no time.
The fabric is light, so rather than for bitter cold, they're just right for days when it's a little chilly.
I hope you'll enjoy making them easily and wearing them casually.

The pattern includes two cuff options.
One is the drawstring type. Thread through a crocheted chain, a leather cord, a ribbon, or whatever you like.
The other is the ribbed type. To be honest, I really like its simple, classic mitten look.
Pick one and give it a try.

The navy drawstring pair and the ribbed pair were crocheted with Hamanaka Tweed Bazaar.
Since that yarn has been discontinued, I made the brown pair with the leather cord in Hamanaka Sonomono Tweed.
The gauge is almost the same, so the pattern lists Sonomono Tweed.
