Japanese Crochet Pattern: Pleated Mask Cover (Chart Included)

A light mask cover made by crochet.
When crocheted with fine yarn, it became a delicate expression.

When you put it on, the pleats spread and it's very comfortable to use.
When viewed from the inside, the pleated part is three-dimensional as shown in the photo below.
It is a design that covers the nose completely.

I made it a simple border so that it is easy to arrange the size.

I asked my daughter to wear it as a model, but this one is crocheted to almost the same size as an adult-sized mask.
Try adjusting the size so that your mask is hidden.
You can also crochet it into small pieces to match child's mask.

I tried using linen cotton yarn Hamanaka Flax C, considering that it should be washed and used.
It was thin, had moderate tension, and was easy to crochet.
