Japanese Crochet Pattern: Triangular Panel Stole (Chart Included)

I made a stole with a triangular motif using a simple crochet fabric.

The triangular lines stand out, and the seams are also accented.

This motif, the triangle shape, and the fact that I knitted it with Sport and DK yarn, progressed faster than I expected.

The number of motifs is small, so you can knit without getting bored.

The design can be changed according to the number of motifs to be joined, so you can enjoy arranging it.

This pattern shows how to knit a gray stole.

Please take a look at the beige sample with a different design using the same motif as a reference work.

The way the motifs are joined together will be the key to the arrangement, so I added a little hint to the pattern to develop it.


For the gray work, I used wool and alpaca yarn called “Mini Sports Alpaca 30” by Motohiro.

The yarn has a cute rustic texture and a soft touch, and the gray color has a heathered feel, which is wonderful.

This is the first yarn I've used, and I couldn't find much information on the internet, so I'll post a picture of the yarn.

Motohiro City Melange used for the beige piece is about DK, so Alpaca 30, which is a little thinner than that, is like Sport, Light DK.


crocheting the motif is very easy, so it's OK if you know the basic method of crochet.

What colors do you have in your mind for this winter item?

I crocheted two pieces in a calm color, so I'm fantasizing that a darker color would be nice next time.

And when I crocheted this stole this time, I found that the trapezoidal shape fits well when worn!

Since it is not transparent, it may be possible to arrange the shape and use it as a throw.
