I crocheted a square neck raglan sweater.
With this pattern, you can crochet a sweater with two different designs.

One is a sample design crocheted with beige yarn.
This one has rough sleeves, so I call it "Type A (rough sleeves)" in the pattern.

I imagined a cloth tunic with the hem folded in three and sewed, so I tried to make the sleeves and hem without border.

The other is a sample design crocheted with navy yarn.
The sleeves are narrower than Type A, and the cuffs and hem are ribbed.

This is called "Type B (ribbed sleeve)" in the pattern.
Adding ribs gives it an orthodox sweater look.

crocheted beanie

The steps of how to crochet are almost the same for both.
Both are crocheted top-down from the yoke, making it easy to arrange the size.

I tried to design it so that the number of patterns and steps can be changed flexibly to match the size of the person wearing it.

Based on the basic shape, the pattern also shows how to arrange it.

Works that can be arranged tend to be long when explained in text.

So this time, I tried to include flow diagrams to make it easier to understand visually.

The tailoring is simple, so I would be happy if you could try it without thinking too much!

On the other hand, in case you want to make a big arrangement and want to crochet, there is also an explanation of the applied version.

You can skip the applied version at first, so please refer to it when you want to dig deeper.

The yarn used is Hamanaka Olive Merino for both beige and gray.
It's about DK, 100% wool yarn.

It is very easy to crochet, and there are many colors, so you can enjoy choosing colors.

Since this is a large piece, the amount of yarn used may vary considerably depending on the hand of the crocheter, so please prepare enough yarn.

Each of the two types is comfortable to wear and feels different when you wear it, so please choose the type you like and try crocheting.

The joy when it is completed and the sleeves are put through is all the more.

Because it is crocheted, the crocheted fabric is thick, but when I put it on, it was very warm and I was a little impressed.

I would be happy if you could enjoy crocheting and wearing a winter sweater of your own size.

I'm glad my first wearable project was made using Ronique's pattern.
The instructions explain every detail so that even beginners can crochet with confidence. I learned so much while working on it, and the finished sweater is wonderfully warm and has become a treasured piece.
