Crochet fabric with fpdc and bpdc makes a good expression of pot mat.
It is good to crochet simply with one color, or if you use two colors, the contrast of the colors will gradually become visible and you can enjoy crocheting.
How about consuming the surplus yarn in such a work?
The sample work is crocheted with Super Fine wool yarn and has a size of about 17.5 cm in length and width.
At the bottom of the page is an image with a pot on it. A small one-handed pot is about 14 cm in diameter, and a large two-handed pot is about 20 cm in diameter.
You can also arrange the size, so try crocheting it into a size that is easy to use according to the yarn used and the application.
For your reference, the recipe also describes how to arrange it.
The blue works at the bottom of the page were made before the renewal of the online shop, and although the yarns and materials used are different, I will post them for your reference.
You may crochet it with a slightly thinner yarn and use it as a blindfold for your basket.
For this reprint, the crochet pattern has been improved to make it a little easier to crochet.
Also, since this work uses fpdc and bpdc in flat crochet, I added a little supplementary explanation of how to crochet to the recipe.
If you haven't tried fpdc and bpdc because the symbols seem difficult, this pattern may be suitable for you to practice crocheting them.
There is also a link to the tutorial movie page on how to crochet fpdc and bpdc on the Ronique homepage "symbols in crochet pattern", so please refer to it if you like.
Even if it is small, it has a sense of accomplishment and is a practical item, so I hope you enjoy it.

Rico's "Textured Pot Trivet"
I made a coaster using the leftover yarn from the pot mat.
Since the edging on the pot mat used a thicker yarn, I changed it to 2 chain stitches.
For the coaster, I tried using only single crochet for the edging.
I love the puffy thickness—it's so cute and I'm really happy with it♪
