A Sign of Your Love for Crochet
I tried crocheting an item that I’d love to share with fellow crochet lovers. “CR” comes from the word “Crochet.”
When made with fine-weight yarn, it becomes an ultra-mini bag. It could be fun to use it as a charm or accessory.
If someone who loves crochet happens to catch a glimpse of the “I ♥ CR” design, it might spark an unexpected moment of connection… If this piece can inspire that kind of imagination, I’d be more than happy.
It could be used to hold small treats, buttons, or stitch markers, or enjoyed as a small gift for a crochet friend. For reference, a square MUJI measuring tape (approx. 4 cm × 4 cm) fit perfectly inside when I tried it.
I hope you’ll discover a use for it that brightens your day!
Crochet Techniques Used
This piece is made using the Center Single Crochet (CSC) stitch. A video tutorial explaining the Center Single Crochet technique is included.
The sample shown in the photos was made with Puppy British Fine yarn (100% wool). The finished size is approximately 6 cm × 6.5 cm. The pleasantly rustic, woolly texture gives it a sheep-like character.
If you are not yet familiar with Center Single Crochet, you may find it easier to start with a smooth yarn that has good stitch definition, as it allows the hook to glide easily.
The design uses a classic color palette, so feel free to look for leftover yarn or yarn in a color you enjoy.
This is a quick project that can be made with just a small amount of yarn— perfect for fitting into spare moments.
